My catalogue lists items with attributes that personally appeal to me—and tie in to an aspect of design.

For example, I collected state quarters out of interest in seeing the images chosen to represent each state. Their choice would speak to the state’s character, history, or other unique qualities. This demonstrates the power of visual identity, which is one focus of design that appeals to me.
Other items were chosen based on the use of beautiful color palettes, clever applications of visuals, emotional impact, and/or print treatment (i.e. paper type, diecuts, finishing).
