My great interest in flowers led me to do research on the 50 U.S. state flowers and their attributes.
See infographic PDF to zoom in on the details.
Attributes include physical features like height and color, blooming season, and beneficial use for humans.
A historical timeline is added to highlight when each state established its state flower.
All elements are put together into a visually enriching, digestible infographic that allows for easy comparison and quick analyses for insightful correlations or “narratives.” One of my main takeaways is white and pink flowers are the most popular choices while blue and red are the least. Also, Maine and Oklahoma are outliers for choosing non-flower plants as their state flowers.
